OS Jordan takes on bullying, with the hand of orthodontist

Amman – Al-Ghad – Operation Smile Jordan followed up the treatment of  13-year-old girl “Sura”, who underwent a reconstructive lip surgery and left permanent deformities on her mouth.

Al-Ghad news paper published a secret case entitled “Surgical operation that saves a child from the oppression of bullying.. “, after that OS Jordan contacted ” Sura’s parents ” to start providing treatment for her in coordination with her family and orthodontist, Dr. Wasfi Al-Amoush, who volunteered to track her condition and take the necessary measures.

OS Jordan confirmed to “Al-Ghad” that it will complete the treatment stages in the upcoming months for free, until “Sura” returns to her school with a smile on her face.

“Sura” was born with a congenital disease called ” cleft lip”, which made her prone to hearing expressions of sarcasm and ridicule on daily bases.

Operation Smile Jordan aims to provide comprehensive care for cases of cleft lip and  palate, and among its current projects is the provision of free orthodontic treatment, and it also covers the expenses of it’s operations.
